Farm Instructors
THE appointment of more instructors in agriculture is urged by the director of the Fields Division. All 1 . R. B. Tcnnant, in his annual report.
Ho makes this proposal in to secure an even higher degree of efficiency, and he points out that areas controlled by individual officers are extremely large, and while one or two additional men have been appointed recently, more are required. It had been found that there was an ever-increasing demand for advice and instruction on all manner of matters. These were met by personal visits, where possible, or by correspondence. The personal visit, the report pointed out, was the more desirable.
