Used Car Problem
A RELIABLE authority in England has estimated with the aid of such figures as are available, that there are at the present time in that country between 200,000 and .'IOO,OOO used cars up for .sale in the establishments of car dealers, amazing figures which show that the used ear problem there has attained great dimensions.
The problem is made more complex by the fact, that i; is not wished arbitrarily to limit the output of new cars by placing :t limit on trade-in deals, and the British motor rvtde literally is at its wits' end over the matter.
A result of the position is the offering of excellent used models .only a year or two old at prices that would make New Zealand motorists' months water; but seemingly this has had little effect in liquidating stocks.
