TE KARAKA SHOW SUCCESSFUL W.l. DISPLAY TE KARAKA WINS CUP The To Kavakn. Women’s Institute held its annual bull) and spring flower show in the Waikohu Hall cm '.! hnrsday and it proved a great, success. The decorative section was described by the judge as most satisfactory and great praise was given for the number ot entries in this class. Much credit is due to Mrs. F. Ilobhs. secretary. Miss B. On-. Miss V. Seamens, and many others who worked most energetically in making the show such an outstanding success. A handsome challenge cup donated by Mrs. ?. -J- Sefton for most points in the decorative class, open to Whatatutn, I’ulia. and To Baraka members only, was won by the Te Karaka institute, with 46 points. Rubs being next, with 24 points. The judges were: —Sections 1,2 and 3. Mr. F. C. Calentt; section 4. Mrs. N. Bull aid Mrs. C. Bull : section 5, Mrs. C. L. Margoliouth and Mr. R. Bruce; section 6. Mrs. F. IP Barker and Mrs. R. Bruce; sections 7 and 8 and children's. Misses L. Hutchinson and K. Winter. A cake given by Mrs. Olson for a weight, estimating competition was won bv Mrs. Bradley. A footstool given by Mrs. .\skew was won bv Miss S. Clark, and a cushion given by Aliss \ . Bull was won by Mrs. J. Wilson.
