'Danish, after remaining firm despite the {decline in pricey for other butters, fell iduring the week by 5s per ctvt. New Zealand and Australian fell a further 3s in the week, making a total decline of 16s for New Zealand and 14s for Australian in three weeks. Danish is now quoted at 1235, Australian and New Zealand choicest salted 105 s to 106 s, and unsalted at 106 s to 107 s. Cheese is also quiet. New Zealand prices fell by Is and Is 6d per cwt. during the week, present rates being 67s to 67s 6d for white and 65 s- 6d for coloured. No Australian cheese is offering. The present level of New Zealand butter on the London market, 105 - to 106 s, is equal to the New Zealand Government's guaranteed price of 12 9-16 d per lb, f.o.b. Prices quoted to-day are 8s per cwt. lower than a. year ago, when the market I was still rising towards the peak of 128 s ireached in October. The peak this year so far lias been 122 s last mouth.
