FARM WORKER SUCCUMBS
FATAL BULLET WOUND RIFLE FOUND IN YARD (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Erie Francis Norton, farm worker, aged 33 years, died in the Ashburton Hospital yesterday as the result of a gunshot wound. He was found during the early morning lying in the- yard of a farm at Seafield where he was employed. He had a bullet wound in his head. A rifle, was lying beside him.
Mr. Norton’s widow and two children reside at Temuka.
