UNIFORM ADVANCE URGED
PAYMENTS FOR CHEESE MANAWATU OPINIONS (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Believing that there is a need for uniformity amongst district cheese factories in the monthly advances to suppliers, on lines of the arrangement under which butter factories work, cheese factory representatives yesterday decided to recommend that all companies advance a fixed uniform price of Id per lb. more than the advance for butter. On the subject of local market prices, the meeting thought that action should be taken by the Government.
