TIN OF DETONATORS
FIND BY SCHOOLGIRL DEADLY PLAYTHINGS (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A tin containing 100 detonators was found under a fence yesterday by a small girl, who took them to her school, where a teacher found her and her mates playing with them. One child was actually trying to make a whistle outof tho deadly plaything. Tho detonators were handed over to tho police. Inquiries, however, have not revealed how the detonators came to be under tho fence where they were found. Had one exploded, tho consequences might have been tragic.
