FRUIT PRESERVING WORK
DISPUTE OVER HOURS (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. An application for an award was made in the Arbitration Court to-day by tfie Auckland Fruit Preserving and Vegetable Canning Union. Tiie wages of adult workers, except those working ns departmental foremen, having been settled, the only matters in dispute are the hours of work arm the wages of youths and females, the rate for casual workers and holidays.
