RENDEZVOUS WITH DEATH

Twenty years ago John Bussell Makinson, Dardanelles hero, was shot in the heart. He lived. Last week Markinson, a middleaged hotel proprietor, of Ripley, Surrey, showed his wife, from the dock of a liner, the site where he was wounded. Then ho died.
Yesterday his body was brought back to Southampton for burial tomorrow.
