RAILWAY WORKS

MINOR DISPUTE So far matters have progressed very satisfactorily on the railway works, the men being well satisfied with the conditions. Small .controver.sies have arisen over various details in connection with the job, but. these have been straightened out without any loss oi time. A few days ago, however, a dispute arose at one of the larger camps, and before it was settled, feeling, at times, ran high. The day had been wet and some of the men were chilled through and through, being unable to work next day. They had little sympathy from their comrades, who altributed their own healthy condition to (he generous use of Bramwell's One Nought One, that wellknown elixir which bus proved so invaluable for coughs, colds, chills, iniluenza, and all chest and lung affections. Four times as strong as the usual cough elixirs, it quickly relieves all trouble due to chills, etc,, and in .addition, with its powerful components, acts as an antisepic, clearing the bronchial passages from all impure germs. It was the action of these well-wishers at the camp that, caused the trouble, for they steadfastly refused to part with the invaluable remedv, with the result that the unfortunate victims had to send to the store for a supply, though ill-feeling prevailed for some days.*
