Mr. W. T. Ikin, the A.M.P. Society’s New Zealand branch manager, was expected to arrive in Gisborne this morning.

Mr. J. Svensen left Wairoa on Wednesday to join the s.s. A v.-a ten-, leaving Auckland on Saturday for Sydney. Mr. Svensen will be accompanied by Mr. A. Mclntosh, Gisborne, well known as the owner of (he racehorse Sporting Blood. Mr Svensen expects to be absent for about a month, and while in Australia hopes to attend the Victoria Racing Club’s meeting and see the Australian Derby as jvcll.
