DEATH IN HOLLYWOOD
MR. IRVING THALBERG BRIEF FATAL ILLNESS (Reed. Repl. 15, 3 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, Sept. 14. The death of Mr. Irving Thalberg, the film executive and husband of Norma Shearer, occurred to-day as a result of lobular pneumonia. He bad been seriously ill for only a week.
