OUTLOOK FOR WOOL

GOOD MARKET EXPECTED JAPAN AND AMERICA One of the results of Australia’s trade dispute with Japan will be a sharp increase in Japan’s- wool purchases- from New Zealand this season, according to Mr. W. Crowe, a prominent American wool importer, who arrived at Auckland by the Niagara from Sydney. Mr. Crowe also predicted a good American market for Mew Zealand wool. “New Zealand will benefit from the absence of any prohibiting treaties between her and Japan,” said Air. Crowe. “I think Japan will consume much of your wool this season, especially in the finer grades. The wool market should bo steady all over the world, because we are out of the depression, and the first tiling people think of in a time of upward trends is the purchase of lood and clothing.”
