THE WEATHER To-day’s North Island Report Temporal ores were generally higher .in tins North Island at 9 a.in. to-day, Cape Maria reporting 60 degrees, Auehlaml 57, Tiritiri 56, Tauranga and Opotiki 57, JJast Cape 58, Gisborne and Napier 06, Castlepoint and Wellington 53, and Cape l’alliser 54. The prevailing winds wore from the. north, with a tendency to easterly at most stations, the exceptions being Capo .Maria, blast Capo, and Wellington, where the winds were northwesterly.
