“PERILOUS Stuff,” by that wellknown novelist, Cynthia. Stoekloy, consists of 111 roe short novels, and it. is essential to emphasise this because they are not. short stories. “The Price of a Rose,” is a tale of Rhodesia. and Sally, who meets “Adonis ofi the train, finds tliat/lhe acquaintance formed in this casual way is to have unexpected consequences. It, is, however, a story ot groat charm, and life in Rhodesia is finely and sympathetically portrayed. The other two novels are entitled “Short Week, and “The Suicide Club.”
