The manager of the Dunedin office- of the United Fire Insurance Company for the past 19 years. Mr. S. B. Macdonald. has received notice of his transfer to Auckland as manager of the company's office in that city. Among the visitors who will arrive at Wellington next Monday by the liner liangitane from England will be the Veil. V,. N. Sharp, M.A., Archdeacon of London. He will be accompanied by his niece, Miss K. D. M. Pusinelli. 'The archdeacon will be paying a holiday visit to the Dominion, and has arranged with the Government Tourist Bureau to make an extensive tour in the South Island.
