CRICKETER KILLED
COMPANION INJURED NORTHANTS BATSMAN ■ LONDON, Aug. 20. The cricketer, R. P. Northway, was killed, and his Northants ciub-mato. A. IL 'Bakewell, was critically injure ' in a motoring smash near Leicester early this morning. The car overturned at a bend i the road and ran into the ditch Northway and Bakewell were Northants' opening batsmen against Derby in the match concluded yesterday, in which Bakewell made a score of 241 not out.
