BURGLAR BUSY
DANNEVIRKE LOSS THEATRE OFFICE ROBBED (Per Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, this day. A burglar or burglars were busy in Dannevirke last, evening. The office of the De Luxe Theatre was forcibly entered and £l4 stolen, the bulk of this sum being the manager's personal property. Earlier in the evening a man was seen in the vicinity of the municipal gasworks in suspicious circumstances, and after he had disappeared a key was found in the ollice safe, which, while failing to open it. securely closed it. Whether the contents had been interfered with is not yet known.
