CHAIRMAN RE-ELECTED
H.B. EDUCATION BOARD The Hawke's Bay Education Board on Thursday unanimously re-elected Mr. G. A. Maddison chairman of the board. The election is held biennially. In moving Mr. Maddison's re-election, Mr. W. Cuthbertson said that all members were aware of the excellent service which Mr. Maddison had rendered to the board. ' , '~ " Mr. J. S. Wauchop, who seconded the motion, also paid a, tribute to Mr." Maddison's efforts as chairman of the board, stating that he had given willingly of his time and effort in the board's interests. The motion was canned.
There were present at the meeting Messrs. W. Cuthbertson, T. A. Coleman, T. Rowe, E. H. Baker, C. H. Critchley, C. It. Sainsbury, J. S. Wauchop, G. Lassen and H. B. M. Quigley, and the Rev. R. B. Wnugh.
