Smirnov gave evidence that the terror plan was Sedoff's idea and not M. Trotsky's. "I disagreed with Sedoff," he said. Confronted with a confession signed in prison, Smirnov smiled and shrugged his shoulders. Newspapers, to-day publish articles headed "Shoot the Reptiles." The confessions in the present trial implicate at least 15 others who are to be arraigned.
