WORK OF ASSOCIATION N.Z. GRASSLANDS BODY (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N.. this day. The reconstitution of the general committee to secure full representation of all interests, enlarging the scope of the organisation, was decided upon at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Grasslands Association, whose four-day conference ended to-day. It was decided that the general committee should include a representative each from Canterbury College, the Cawthron Institute, the .Department _ of Agriculture, the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Mas'sej College, practising farmers, and commercial interests.

It was resolved that the. next conference should be held in Dtmedin. The annual report showed that the year had been a successful one. The paid membership had increased, and the: funds showed a good credit balance. Sir Francis Frazer was re-elected patron; Mr. A. H. Cockayne, DirectorGeneral of Agriculture, president; and; Mr. 6. P. Corinell, secretary.
