Perfume Parade
AN innovation in fashion presentations took place in New York recently, when a perfume parade was staged. "Perfumes for many moods and modes" is the way it was described, and this is the list of odours that best express them: —Elizabeth Arden "Blue Grass"; Caron "Elenrs de Rocaille" (Rock Garden Flower); Chanel—"Suir deßussie" (Russian Leather); Charbert—"Drumbeat"; Coly—"Le Nouveau Gardenia"; Guerlain —"Sous Le Vent" (Under the Wind); Houbigant— "Presence"; Lelong—"lndiseEet "; Lentheric — "Tweed"; Lanvin — "Rumeur"; Ma tchabelli—"Duchess of York''; Weil—"Cassandra" (a Greek prophetess).
