WAGES AND CONDITIONS LEGISLATTON C'RITICISED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. ‘That this executive considers that tho scale of wages and conditions for dgiry farm workers as set out in the Act will make the dairy farmers’ position, in spite of the guaranteed price, a much loss satisfactory one than obtained under the previous working conditions'with an open market’, arid in our opinion will have a tendency to lend to .the increased use for labour of the farmer’s wife and children, ultimately leading to reduced produc fion.” This resolution was approved by the provincial executive of the Farmers’ Union at Dunedin to-day.
