IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT iXSiSTENOK BY CREW (Per Press Association.) . , DUNEDIN, this day. The crew of the steamer Simonside this morning intimated the intention to hold the master to the terms of the agreement made at Lyttelton. They stated that although the rood clause had not yet fully been fulfilled, some change, had been made in the rations. ...... The fumigation and mattress replacement .could not be carried out till the phosphate: cargo was discharged, prob ably by Tuesday, but the crew would insist then on preferring gaol to taking the vessel out under the old conditions.
