Scarie and the line Mrs. Scarfe, of Gisborne, and Raymond, lourth son of Mrs. W. Mackie and the late .Mr. Dods, of Gisborne. 'the bride's model gown was of rich panne velvet in a wine shade shot with drown. The corsage was of gold finely marked lame cut. with a cowl neckline., and the skirt was shirred at the back to form a train. .\ short matching coatee was fashioned with revered eonar and cull's of sable fur, and was fastened in front. She wore gold lame mittens and ,i smart little toque of gold lame with j,old orchids at the back and a wine shaded eye veil in front. She wore wine crcpe-de-chine siindul shoes and carried a sheaf of gold lacquered lilies. Mr. E. A. Scarfe gave his daughter away. The only bridesmaid was .Miss Jean Hods, whose gown was of delicate pink ,:hill'on painted with flowers in shades oi red and blue. The corsage had a high gathered neckline with three buttons across the front, liny buttons down the back and cape sleeves shirred at, the shoulders. Mackie. the bridegroom's. mother, wore a brown tailored costume with brown velour hat and a posy of icd and autumn shaded flowers and fern.
