The first Australian soccer team to visit the Dominion for 13 years arrived on the Wanganella to-day, and was given a civic reception by the deputy-May or, the Hon. Bernard Martin. , The team consists of 15 players, drawn from all the States except Tasmania, under the management of Mr. G A. Storey. It. will play three tests for the' soccer ashes, at present held by Australia and which were brought across the Tasman Sea by the team in an elaborate casket. The first match will take place in Auckland on Saturday against the 10/'al representatives. Test matches will be played in Dnnedin, Wellington, and Auckland.
