Another actress of silent days who will appear very soon on the talking screen is Agnes Ayres, who has not been away from films so long as has ISTazimova. Agnes Ayres played the role of heroine to Rudolph Valentino in such famous pictures as "The Sheikh" and "The Son of the Sheikh." Her next appearance will be with Janet (iaynor and Robert Taylor in "Small Town Girl." Yet one more link with the past will be a re-made talking version of "The Clutching Hand." The company malting the picture is evidently intent on recapturing the ancient; atmosphere. It has engaged Bryant Washburn, Jack Mulhall, William Earnhain, Mao Biiseh, and Reed Howes i" the cast.
