NUHAKA HUNT
SATURDAY'S MEET GOOD JUMPING SEEN (Herald Correspondent.) ' The Mahin Hunt Club held its first Nnhaka meet on Saturday, when the property owned by Mr. Humphrey Bayly was hunted over. There was a field of approximately 40 followers, bended by the master. Mr. A. Dcvery, mounted on Banquet, the huntsman, Mr. D. Wilson, on Up and Over, the whip. Mr. J. Agnew, and the president of the. club. Mr. K. Stewart., on lied I'cpper. A good run was made in the morning, one hiire being put. up, but she gained cover. T.filer on in the day a kill was registered. Rome very good jumping was witnessed, the ground being very soft-. and no spills occurred. There was a number oi riders from Wniroh and Gisborne. and many spectators followed along tin- load by car. Most enjoyable morning and afternoon teas were dispensed by the hostess, Mrs. Humphrey Bayly, fun.
