In accordance with arrangements announced on Monday, chiefs of staffs ol the Chechoslovakian and Yugoslav armies, accompanied by representatives of the principal sections, arrived to-day to liegin a conference, lasting five days, aiming at the co-ordination or the Little Entente's defences.
The problems being discussed include the unification of armaments, add the establishment of new armament works in Rumania and Yugoslavia, which will co-opcratc with Czechoslovakia)! factories. The convocation of the conference is regarded in diplomatic circles as an indication of the seriousness with which the Little Entente views the situation in consequence of the weakening of the League of Nations and the breakdown of tho plans for collective security.
