SUCCESSFUL R.S.A. BALL (Herald Correspondent.) The usual large crowd attended the R.S.A. ball, which was held in the Matawai Hall on Friday evening. The hall was artistically decorated with flags and streamers, and the supper tables were gay with red and blue trailers, connecting the vases which contained variegated holly with red berries and autumn leaves. Messrs. X. G. Harding, president of the association, in conjunction with Mr. <S. A. Davidson, made very efficient M.Cs., having prepared a splendid programme of popular dances. Miss L. Rum's orchestra was in attendance.

Supper was provided by the members of Rakauroa, Koranga and Matawai Women's Institutes, who received thanks from the president in which the dancers joined. Among those present were Mrs. N. G.
