TRAGEDY ON SPEEDWAY
NOTED RIDER KILLED WINNER OP N.2. TROPHY . SYDNEY. June "IK 'Robert Coonics, aged 2.") veins, of Lithgow, better, known as "Bobby .Blake," champion motor cyclist, was killed while practising on Mh-roubra ppopdwhy, Sydney, to-day, when his cycle skidded on the wot surface. '.Blake, among other important victories, won the New Zoaland Gold Helmet in H>32. He was a member or the ISKW Australian motor cycle team which visited England. During the- first international test race between England, Australia and America at Sydney, Blake fell and fractured his skull and broke both arms, necessitating his retirement from competitive' riding.
