During his visit to Sydney Archbishop Averill, Primate cf New Zealand made a point of noting :he arrangements that had been made for the Bishop Broughton celebration. As tie centenary of the arrival in New Zetland of Bishop Selwyn falls in 1945, it will be necessary, he said, for the church in New Zealand to make .preparations for a similar observance. He also made inquiries regarding the construction of Auckland's ca.thedral, and ' had had consultations which should bo *ery helpful, but he was finable to diiclose tho details at the moment.
