An Aucklander, Mr. Hoyden Munro, of Dcvonport, is a passenger on the Queen Mary on her maiden voyage. In addition to the large assortment of clothing offered, there was also a stall for sweets* cakes and produce. The goods were briskly disposed of and before the doors were closed at boon a large quantity of articles had been sold. The organ fund benefited handsomely as a result of the sale. Mrs. W..Carruthers was in charge of (lie cakes and produce stall, while those who assisted in the disposal of the clothing were Mesdauies F. E. Leadley. W, Bignell, F, H. Forge and J. Cbrisp.
