EXTENSION PLANNED SYSTEM OF QUOTAS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY, May 26A communique issued by' the international tin committee of London says that in view of the difficulties, the committee experienced in establishing the probable exports from Bolivia, it has been decided that the quota for the JulySeptember quarter should be considered at the June meeting in Paris.

The tin control scheme ends on the last day of this year unless renewed. The four participating States, Bolivia, Malaya, the Netherlands East Indies and Nigeria are willing to continue the control provided Siam, the Belgian Congo and other producing countries join in on satisfactory terms. The communique records favourable progress in the negotiations with the Belgian Congo, and the early opening of negotiations with Siam.
