The Exchequer returns show that the total ordinary revenue, oxeluding self-balancing items, amounts to £81,507.820, compnred with £87,468,82!! at the corresponding date of lasi year. The total ordinary expenditure, exclusive of self-lialnncing items, was £107,626,844, against £106,280,201 last ven r.
