The Socialist National Convention has nominated Mr. Norman Thomas as its candidate for the Presidency at the 1&36 election, and Mr. George Nolson, •who was the Socialist candidate for 'the Governorship of Wisconsin in 1034, for the Vice-Presidency. The convention rejected a proposal from the Communist Party for a political “united front” during the coming campaign.
