FERRIER THE FAVOURITE ( Ifecd. Mav 27, p.m.) LONDON, May 2d. In the second round of the British amateur golf tournament, M. Dykes (Scotland) defeated 1L Locke (South Africa), one up. Dykes, is a Scottish Rugby international. Locke, who was outdriven throughout, failed to live up to hi? reputation. Tweedel defeated Risxik two up and one. Crawley defeated J. Brown (Uniter. States) four anil three. Torrance deleated Fogg, four and three. Sinytli defeated Michael Scott, two and one. Wetliered defeated Boomer, lour and three. Thompson defeated Brock, seven and five.
The Australian, J. Forrior, is now the favourite for the title.
