SPOKEN TO RUDELY
SEAMAN OFFENDED CREW DELAY MAORI (Ter Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last, night. The departure from Wellington of the inter-island steamer Maori for Lyttelton was delayed over half an hour to-night owing to trouble with the. crew. It is stated that- one man was aggrieved because lie alleged lie had been spoken to rudely by an engineer, from whom lie demanded an apology. As this was not immediately forthcoming, the crew hold a meeting to discuss the matter, the ship, and her passengers being held up meanwhile. Tho affair was finally adjusted to the satisfaction oi the crow and' the Maori departod 40 minutes late.
