BUTTER STILL RISING FIRM AT 99/- PER CWT. The price of New Zealand buLler in London has reached 99s per ewt, a further increase of Is per ewt on the quotations received yesterday. At this level, it is worth over UAd per lb, f.o.b. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Company report having received the following advice from London under yesterday’s date:—"Butter, 99s ; the market is firm. Cheese, white, 57s 6d to 58s, coloured 55s to 55s 6d.” The New Zealand retail price is unchanged at lid a lb, but it is expected that it will be increased to Is this week, while Danish is unchanged at Is Id. Deliveries of New Zealand butter last week totalled 1758 tons, compared with 1908 tons for the previous week and 1800 tons a year ago. Australian deliveries were 1593 tons, against 1950 tons a year ago. New Zealand stored butter has decreased by 4102 tons, compared with 4d7'2 tons for the previous week and 78tiO tons a year ago.
