(Herald Correspondent.l There was a good attendance cn Friday evening at the enjoyable dance and euchre party held in the \\ aerengaadiika School in aid of the school funds. 'Mr. W. Wade supplied the music fur dancing, and Mr. K. Cooper acted as M.C. The Monte Carlo wait/, was won by Mr. 11. Candy and Mrs. R. Boyd. Members of the school committee, assisted by willing lady helpers, were responsible for organising the successful limelion. The prizes at euchre were won as follows:—Ladies : Mrs. N. Rodd, 1 ; Miss Rogers, 2. Gentlemen: Mr. J. Rogers, 1 ; Mr. W. Fenton, 2. Mr. and Mrs. .1. Quirk, Motuhora, spent the week-end at Waerenga-a-bika on their way home after a tour of the North Island, having visited Auckland, New Plymouth and Palmerston North. Mrs. J.' F.
