WIN FOR T. CROSBY A further .nice was held from Tskapau on Saturday by members of the Poverty, day Homing Pigeon Society. There was a good entry of 42 birds, representing 12 lofts. The, winner was T. Crosby’s P>ig Star, which completed the 133 miles in the fairly good time of 2hr. 46min. SOsee., a velocity of 1573.7yd5. jut min. Del tided results are as follow.—T. Crosby’s Pig Star, 1373.7yd5. per min., l. ; 1C Dunstan’s Anzae. and Great Star, 1318.5yd5. per min., 2: J. McLean’s, Lightning, jtin., 1310.3yd5. per min., 4; K. Hall’s Desert Steed, 12S0.5yds. p<u' min., 5; T. Crosby's Young Lightning, 1281yds. per min., 6. 1 performances were given also by \Y. Marshall’s Young Roof, A. AleLanghlan’s illue Ragle, Turnbull's Big Dock, W. Jolmnson’s High Feast, J. Martin’s Black Hawk, and R. Brooking’s Outfit.
