The seven months’ comparison shows 27.842 tons inward. against 27.063 tons for the corresponding period of the previous financial year; and 22,705 tons of exports, as against £2.982 tons for the seven months period ended a,t April 30, 1935. Over the longer period, the increase in imports was 778 tons, and the decrease of experts 277 tons.
