Bradney, at the age. of 83 years. In the early days of Auckland’s settlement, he plied 'rowing boats on the harbour. Fifty years ago ho founded a partnership with Mr. E. C. Linns in a si earn boat business, and the firm two years ago became Messrs. Bradney and Sons, Limited. Captain Bradney was born in Staffordshire, England. He was a member ot the Auckland Harbour Board for nine years, and was elected to Parliament by the Auckland West constituency: in 1911. He was ail enthusiastic. musician.
