Members having pointed out the desirability of players being allowed to become accustomed to the make of ball that will be used in the New Zealand championships and the inter-provincial trophy matches, the management committee f of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association has decided to adopt for the provincial championships whatever ball is adopted officially this year bv the New Zealand Lawn. Tennis Association. Three firms applied for the adoption of specific makes of halls and submitted samples. It was stated that the New Zealand association Was likely to make its decision-at the next meeting. ;
