Purtllei results were:- —■ Waikato Hurdles.—s-4 .Modern .Maid (W. Rennie), 1 ; 7-7 Benighted (-1. McLaughlin). 2: 1-2 Silk Sox (1.. Dulieu). 3. Scratched: Arctic Star and Race whip. Won by two and a half lengtln and two lengths. Time. 3.17 L-5.
