HOAXER'S 200 VICTIMS
SCARE AT TWO MEETING'S LONDON, March 7. Two hundred people attending meetings at Oxford University Museum last night were hoaxed by an unknown person who telephoned a warning that the 'boiler-room pressure had got beyond control. In one room 150 were attending a meeting of the Psychological Society, and in another SO were present at a lantern lecture. Thev all ran out into the rain. The hoax was realised when someone went back and felt the hot-water pipes. Thev were cold.
