A chestnut colt by Heroic from Desdemona was bought by .Mr. C. T. Godby. Melbourne, "for 1760gns. Another chestnut by Heroic from tin Limond mare Rhea was bought by A. Xagel, Queensland, for 1600gns. Other Heroics ranged from 500 to BCC guineas. One of them was bought lot Air. JE. E. Clarke.' who is at present in New Zealand. A chestnut colt by Marconigr.tm from Barbette was sold to Mr. W. Hogan, of Melbourne, for HOOgns. Koomeela progeny sold from 200 to 65C guineas. Nine Bullhead colls ranged from 140 to 425 guineas. Throe Dark Fox colts ranged from 150 to 425 guineas. Mr. J. Jamieson paid 40gns for n Fernleaf filly from Ensiguette. Messrs. Wright. Stephenson and Company. New Zealand, paid llOgns for a Brazen filly from 'Volume. Sixteen Pantheon colts and fillies from .Mr. P. Miller's Kia Oia Stud. Scone, sold briskly to buyers throughout Australia, the prices ranging from 110 to 850 guineas, Fifteen Constant Son colts and fillies from the same stud realised from 130 to 725 guineas.
