LABOUR AMENDMENT BILL EMPLOYMENT PROMOTION EARLY PROGRESS HOPED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. , No time will be lost by the Government on resuming work to-day on the legislative programme* The Prime Minister, the Hon. M. J. Savage, said last night that the House would deal with the two bills introduced by the Minister of Labour, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, before the Easter adjournment, the Labour Department Amendment Bill and the Employment Promotion Bill. The Prime Minister hoped to have', both put througli the House before the end "of next week', so as to be in a position to introduce the Guaranteed Prices Bill. i A cau«us of the Government members wai held tihs morning. It was expected that the Guaranteed Prices Bill would be the principal subject of discussion.
