DISMISSED EMPLOYEE SUICIDE FOLLOWS ' PERTH, April 3. A man named Grage is dead, and a woman, Teresa Burgess, of 1.1 Lane streot, West Perth, is in a critical condition at Perth Hospital, suffering from many injuries, probably including a fracture of the skull. It is believed that Grage, who was cmployed by Burgess at a small shop in Barrack streot, was told that he was dismissed. A waitress employed at the shop, who left Jato at night, heard Grage and Burgess quarelling just before she went away, leaving them together. Hoon after 8 o'clock tills morning one of the occupants of a neighbouring shop heard the sound of groaning from Burgess' shop, and, looking over a partition, saw a man lying on the Ground, severely wounded. He saw the man move a leg, and the neighbour then went to the front of the shop, and, looking in, saw a woman sitting at a tablo in the- shop. She stood Up when lie entered ancl walked n short distance, apparently dazed. The man died before assistance could be rendered. The woman was taken to hospital where she said that a man had attacked hnr with a hammer and had then taken the knife to cut his throat. She tried to take the knife away and in doing so cut her hancT.
