VISIT TO STEEL WORKS
BROKEN HILL PLANT NEW ZEALAND PARTY (Per Press Associ.ilion.) AUCKLAND, this day. In response to an invitation from the Broken Hill Proprietary to pay a courtesy visit to Australia to inspect its steel works at Newcastle, about 60 members of the New Zealand Hardware Guild will leave for Sydney within the next few days. Thirteen business men, several accompanied by members of their families, sail from' Auckland by the Wanganella to-day, while the remainder will bo passengers from Wellington by the Maungaiiui on Tuesday. It is planned to give the visitors an insight into the manufacture of the produets which they purchase from the proprietary. They will also inspect several subsidiary companies. The official portion of the visit ends on April 9, but a number of the travellers may remain for a longer period in Australia.
